Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

The short version: We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. We collect what you give us and use it to build you something great.

1. "Personal Information" means

In this policy, "Personal Information" means information that identifies or could be used to identify an individual directly or indirectly. Except as described in this policy, Custom Texas Living, LLC ("we", "our", or "us") will not give, sell, rent, or loan any Personal Information to any third party.

Personal Information does not include "Usage Data" which we define as encoded or anonymized information or aggregated data we collect about a group or category of services, features, or users which does not contain personally identifying information. Usage Data helps us understand trends in usage of our website so that we can better consider new features or otherwise tailor the experience.

Basically

"Personal Information" is information someone can use to identify you. We don't sell it.

2. How we collect and use your information

Forms

Our website has forms that allow you to send your Personal Information to us — primarily the consultation request form on our contact page. These forms collect your name, email address, phone number, project budget, timeline, and project scope.

Your Personal Information is used only to respond to your inquiry and discuss potential projects. It is never sold or distributed to third parties.

Basically

We use your form info to contact you about your project. That's it.

Analytics

We use PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors interact with our website. PostHog collects anonymous usage data — things like which pages are visited and how long people stay. It sets a cookie to distinguish between visits, but we do not use it to personally identify you.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracking tools.

Basically

We use one analytics tool (PostHog) to see page views. We don't track you across the web.

3. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses a small number of cookies:

  • PostHog analytics cookie — distinguishes unique visits so we can count page views accurately. Does not contain personal information.
  • Essential cookies — required for basic site functionality like form submissions.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Basically

Minimal cookies for analytics and basic functionality. No ad tracking.

5. Testimonials and project photos

We post client testimonials, project photos, and project locations on our website. We always obtain consent from the individual or organization prior to posting their name alongside their testimonial or project details.

Basically

If you see a testimonial or project on this site, we have permission.

6. Data retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and complete any related project work. If you would like us to delete your information, contact us and we will remove it within 30 days.

Analytics data is retained in aggregate form and does not contain personally identifiable information.

Basically

We keep your info as long as we need it for your project. Ask us to delete it anytime.

7. Your rights

All Visitors

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the Personal Information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of analytics by disabling cookies in your browser

California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have additional rights:

  • Right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used
  • Right to delete personal information we've collected from you
  • Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

We do not sell personal information. We never have and have no plans to.

European Visitors (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your data. Our legal basis for processing form submissions is your consent (you chose to contact us); our basis for analytics is legitimate interest in understanding site usage.

Basically

You have rights over your data. We don't sell it. Email us if you want anything changed or deleted.

8. Protection of information

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your Personal Information, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) for all form submissions. However, no internet transmission is ever fully secure, so please take care in deciding what information you send.

Basically

We take reasonable steps to keep your info safe, including encrypted connections.

9. Children's privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. Your continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
